Probably gonna suck.
Jhonen working on an animated short. If this does well he’ll do a Johnny the Homicidal Maniac animated movie.
Prepare to change your pants in three… two… one
A person on Twitter sent me this old Halloween photo of theirs and it is now my favorite, most hilarious photo of people dressed as my characters. Squee looks like Batboy from the Weekly World News, and he’s ENORMOUS. The other kid looks like he maybe murdered GIR and then wore his skin like a suit.
All in all, this photos is fantastic and it makes me laugh. Would look at again.
Look what Jhonen posted!
Today’s A Big Day
In less than three hours Nickelodeon unveils new programming to their advertisers at a private event in New York called an Upfront.
Let’s get straight to the point:
We are very confident in Project Massive working however it takes a lot of time for the show to be greenlit by the powers that be.
We are are very sure that we WON’T be hearing any Zim announcements at today’s Upfront. It’ s just too soon. So what we DO intend to do, as stated before on our other pages is this:
We are getting in touch with various inside connections to see if they heard anything on the success of Project Massive. We were told something juicy in November however our informant admits it was an idea being thrown around: nothing official. So we’ll keeping shaking the trees and seeing what falls on our heads.
We thank you for your patience and can tell you this much: we continue to be a news source primarily through our Facebook page and SOON will be merging with my own pet project Zim site TheIrkenAntennae.com where OHP will serve as a voice of the fandom in all things quality Zim while the Antennae covers the news. Should be exciting! =D

Q:the algonquin taco truck? ive heard about it on facebook, but whats up with it?
What we know is this: The voices of Zim and Gir (Richard Horvitz and Rikki Simons respectively) and Eric Trueheart are making a comedy podcast. They will invite various other familiar faces from Invader Zim as well. It’s still in production and I’m pretty excited about it.

Q:Are you against shipping in the show? To me, the atmosphere of Invader Zim and romance don't mix.
Love and affection has no place within the show’s canon and universe according to Jhonen.
I am of the mindset that what fans enjoy and express themselves with is their own business.

Q:They made a Star Trek Online, would they consider an Invader Zim Online?
not the time to do that.
It’s wiser to make flash games for webpages and mobile apps.
Check out GameSlave2.com and ArtofPlayGames.com for a look at what’s in store for Zim games!

Q:When was the last time you guys did a VOKLE? I miss being in OHP Vokle meetings and hopefully when you guys can there can be another one sometime soon.
how about this weekend? :)

NEW EPISODE CHRISTMAS DAY.
Every Zim fan needs to know this.
An official EPISODE that only made it to cast recording sessions is being animated painstakingly by some talented fans. 7 AM EASTERN Christmas morning they will show what they got done so far at SoapyWaffles.com
I’ve seen it at Invadercon II and let me tell you… This was a huge highlight for everyone.
Reblog and spread through every social network page you have.
Q:Now that i've found out Jhonen actually wants to do more Zim, I've been wondering why people think he hated working on it and dosen't want to come back. Also how did that rumor get started in the first place?
Maybe some took this quote from the NY Times out of context:
“Mr. Vasquez - whose decidedly adult comic books, Squee! and Johnny, the Homicidal Maniac, have become cult classics - says he hasn’t found working with Nickelodeon much of a change.
”I’m not adapting anything, other than restricting a certain vocabulary and a certain liberty of visuals,” he said. ”That’s kind of why I went with this. It’s interesting being just as bizarre and just as funny, but not using the kind of things I’ve used before. But I guess it’s sad in that it speaks so well of my arrested development.”
Both animators admit that the only difficulties with their new gigs are, as Mr. Vasquez put it, ”adapting to a working environment with about a thousand other people in it.”
”It’s an absolute misery, and you can quote me on that,” he said. ”Whenever I can, I have these one-night comic-book marathons. There’s something beautifully intimate about working on your own.”

I’m psyched. Let’s get word out for this.
Special thanks to Art of Play for the exclusive info. :)

Q:Is "The Irken Antennae" up yet? (sorry if I spelled "antennae" wrong)
Holidays and exams get in the way of my webmaster coding it as well as the availability of my interviewees.
I’m shooting for early 2013. I hope that it is launched before or during the launch of the comedy podcast Algonquin Taco Truck….You know the project that Richard, Rikki, and Eric are on. Whenever that goes down.

The image commands you!
InvaderCONIII? YES PLEASE!!
YOU- FILTHY EARTH CREATURE! PAY ATTENTION AND DO AS I SAY!!
We have a chance to make another InvaderCON happen.
How do we do that? SIMPLE -
Just head on over to Wasabi Anime and click the “Like” button, or follow them on twitter.
Then spread the word to as many people you can!
If we can get them to 10,000 fans on either website, they’ll start talking about a possible InvaderCONIII.
The first one was incredible, the second one was EVEN BETTER.
Just think of how FREAKING AWESOME the next one will be!!

Q:There is going to be a invader zim christmas marathon tommorow would that be nickolodean testing the waters for a possible revival (wink wink)
Nicktoons is airing it and Nicktoons is a separate company from Nickelodeon.
Nicktoons loves Invader Zim and wanted new episodes made back in 2010 but Jhonen wanted a budget for the show that Nicktoons can’t afford. Nickelodeon on the other hand needs convincing.
So Nicktoons can CERTAINLY show the ratings to Nickelodeon and Viacom saying “see how many people were watching?” but that’s it.
